Mind is restless, O Krishna!

It is turbulent, obstinate, hard to restrain!

"That's the difference between me and the rest of the world! Happiness isn't good enough for me! I demand euphoria!"

Don't we all!!
But over time we learn to live with the happiness that we can have and deal with the realization that we will never have ALL of what we want.
I wonder, does that make me a 'loser' instead of the 'winner' that the corporate types want me to be? Is it necessary to be a 'winner' at all? Where does renunciation fit into all this? And why am I trying to sound philosophical without any idea about what I'm saying?
Maybe it's the afternoon booze...
Sorry.

remember school days, we used to have these short stories with a moral!! One such was of Tom Sawyer, who was asked to whitewash a fench by his uncle. He hated the work, but put up a show to his friends that this was the best-est job one could do, that nothing more euphoric than whitewashing! They then paid Tom to finish the job for him. :)

Hmmm .. maybe its the morning smoke!

I guess if you are unsatisfied with happiness, even happiness will become elusive!
